I have a psychology background and wish to train further in clinical psychology. Will this course be helpful for me?
Ans: Yes, of course. We shall be discussing and practising through role play, issues which require a clinical psychologist’s input, such as assessment of mental capacity. I am a radiologist and do not need to speak to patients as much. Why should I do this course?
Ans: While it is true, radiologists might not be required to communicate to patients as much as some of the other clinical specialties, they can be crucial in communicating results of an investigation, and as such play a hugely important role in the diagnosis and management planning.
